Beyond Basics, Into Mastery

Most seminars stop at lifting mechanics and programming but peak performance requires more.

The Intentional Athlete Experience blends mindset training, movement, and advanced techniques to create a truly holistic approach to strength. Through this integration, you’ll gain far more than just weight on the bar you’ll learn to understand yourself on a deeper level, developing the awareness and skill to navigate both training and life with purpose.

Our focus is on intentionality and balance teaching you to harness both effort and ease for sustainable growth without burnout.

This all-inclusive event includes meals and lodging so we can maximize our time together for learning, connection, and transformation. The weekend features community discussions, lectures, hands-on MindBody work, and training sessions designed to strengthen every part of you.

Night 1 - Friday, 6:00 PM Start time

Cultivating your Why

Arrive early to settle in, meet fellow athletes, or get a training session in before dinner. At 6:00 PM, we’ll officially begin with a community meal prepared by your hosts.

After dinner, we’ll dive into the heart of what brings us together our why. Many people can talk about their goals, but few have ever intentionally cultivated the deeper purpose behind them.

Your “why” doesn’t just appear; it’s something you create through reflection, action, and purpose. Together, we’ll begin that process uncovering what truly drives you so your pursuit of strength becomes more meaningful, grounded, and free.

Day 2 - Morning Session: 7:00 - 9:00 AM

Movement

As the saying goes, motion is lotion. We’ll start the morning by exploring mindful movement practices designed to promote health, durability, and freedom of motion. Developing a strong range of movement not only supports performance but also deepens your kinesthetic awareness The connection between how you move and how you feel.

After our movement session, we’ll come together for a community-based breakfast, fueling both body and connection as we prepare for the rest of the day’s work.

Day 2 - Mid Morning Session: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Tension & Entrainments

Following breakfast, Vanessa and Ross will lead an in-depth session on TENSION. Exploring the difference between active and passive tension, what creates it, and how to both harness and release it in your training and your life.

After the discussion, Vanessa will provide each attendee with a NetworkSpinal entrainment, a gentle yet powerful practice designed to help your body release stored tension and restore balance to the nervous system.

We’ll then pause for a short break before coming together again for our community lunch — refueled and ready for the next stage of the journey.

What is an Entrainment?

A NetworkSpinal entrainment is a gentle, precise technique designed to release tension patterns stored in the body and restore balance and coherence to the nervous system. Unlike traditional adjustments, entrainments work by using light touches at specific spinal points to help the body reorganize and self-correct, leading to improved energy flow and adaptability. For athletes, the benefits are significant: greater nervous system efficiency, enhanced recovery, and a higher capacity to handle physical and mental stress. This means faster adaptation to training, improved performance, and a reduced risk of injury, allowing athletes to reach new heights in both their sport and overall well-being.

Day 2 - Afternoon Session: 2:00 - 5:00 PM

Intentional Training Session

After refueling with a nourishing lunch, we’ll shift gears into a presentation on intentional training. Exploring how purpose extends far beyond the workout itself.

Intentionality doesn’t end when you rack the bar. What you do before, after, and between sessions shapes your growth just as much as the training itself. In this session, we’ll break down how to make every part of your process meaningful, efficient, and aligned with your goals.

Following the presentation, we’ll head into the home gym for a hands-on intentional training session, putting these principles into practice. You’ll experience what it truly feels like to train with focus, awareness, and flow.

We’ll close this session with a short break before gathering again for dinner.

Day 2 - PM Session: 6:00 - Close

Transform Anxiety into FUEL!

Tonight, we eat and connect. Gather around the table with fellow athletes to refuel, unwind, and strengthen the bonds that drive growth.

After dinner, we’ll move fireside for one of the most powerful sessions of the weekend: Transforming Anxiety into Fuel. Together, we’ll explore the subtle but crucial difference between anxiety and excitement. More importantly, learning to shift between the two can unlock new levels of potential, both on the platform and in life.

Close out the night with good conversation, an adult beverage, and maybe a s’more by the fire. Because tonight isn’t just a meal. It’s a mindset shift.

Day 3 - AM Session: 9:00 AM-Noon

Integration & Closing

After our community breakfast, we’ll come together to reflect and begin integrating everything learned throughout the weekend. This session is about exploring what resonates most for you. How to carry intentionality forward in your training, your mindset, and your daily life.

We’ll also open the floor for a closing Q&A, giving space for final insights, questions, and shared reflections from the group.

To conclude our time together, Vanessa will guide a transformative breathwork session. Awakening the body, grounding the mind, and sealing the weekend’s experience in presence and clarity.

Our Space

Let’s take a quick look at where the experience unfolds. We’re located about 45 minutes from Atlanta International Airport, offering both convenience and comfort.

The event takes place in our home gym and teaching space, with accommodations split between our basement suite and a neighboring Airbnb for those choosing to stay on-site.

Early check-in and extended stays are welcome. Just reach out to Ross directly to coordinate travel or special arrangements.
